Empowering Women from All Surrounding Communities Since 1904
The Lake Bluff Women's Club works to foster civic involvement, enhance quality of life, and to strengthen our communities, with people at the heart of its philanthropic endeavors.
Going into our 120th year, it has continued to grow and remain active since its start in 1904. LBWC is a State of Illinois registered non-profit 501C (3). As a nonprofit organization, the Club has a rich history of
philanthropy and charitable activities.
The Lake Bluff Women’s Club are women from Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Knollwood and surrounding communities who are passionate about helping others in our community. We raise funds and volunteer to support many worthwhile institutions such as: Lake Forest High School Scholarship Fund, Mothers Trust Foundation, Fill a Heart 4 Kids, Kids Above All, PAWWS, Lovell Health Care Center Veterans Holiday Collections.
Captain James A. Lovell Federal Heath Care Center
LBWC members donate a monetary gift every December to provide for veterans recuperating at The Health Care Center.
Activities provided for veterans include: Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations and an annual indoor August Picnic.
PAWWS (Paws Assisting Wounded Warriors)
From 2015-2022 LBWC helped provide five service dogs for veterans.
Service dogs from PAWWS help military veterans afflicted with
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) live more independently.
Help make a difference in our community and gain new friendships. LBWC meets November through May on the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30am to 2:00pm at Grace United Methodist Church in Lake Bluff.
Each October, an Annual Fundraising Benefit.
