Meet LBWC Historian, Margaret AbEL

Elderly woman with glasses in front of a bookshelf, titled 'Ask Margaret'.

Ask me a question

What would you like to know?  Send an email to: lindahegg625@gmail.com

I'll respond and also post on this website under 'DID YOU KNOW'...

Tree-lined suburban street with charming houses and well-kept lawns.

How I got started

Margaret moved to Lake Bluff with her husband in 1954, developed a strong sense of place with the area and bought a home on Eva Terrace  where they raised a family of nine.  She has been a member of Lake Bluff Women's Club since November 1999. She is also immersed in Lake Bluff Library, Lake Bluff History Museum and Lake Forest/Lake Bluff senior center. Margaret's love for Lake Bluff is contagious and we all agree; it's quiet, safe, peaceful and friendly. Have a question you'd like to know anything related to life in Lake Bluff...send us an email: jennifer@jthyacinth.com
