Celebrating the Historic Legacy of the Lake Bluff Women's Club and USA's 250th Anniversary May 12th.
Kathy O'Hara of the Lake Bluff History Museum (former Lake Bluff President and educator) will give a presentation on the historic societal contributions throughout the years of the many women in the Lake Bluff Women's Club. This program will be videotaped and shown on YouTube due to the historic importance of this event.
We are urging everyone to proudly wear

At varios luncheons, bags were decorated then filled for Fill A Heart for Kids. Instructions were given to include (the sun, good morning and who it was from first name only). Then we filled them, taped them shut and applied a sticker. At Lake Bluff Women's Club, we are dedicated to fostering a sense of community among women in Lake Bluff.

Introducing Meagan Piatek, LBWC Veterans Program director in charge of overseeing programs and assistance to Veterans at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. The Center supports specialty health services, including mental health care, women’s health services, treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), foot care (podiatry), vision care (optometry, ophthalmology, and cataract surgery), orthopedics, and more.

Every March , LBWC hosts an ice cream social, previously chaired by Sally Shineflug (center) for veterans at Captain James A. Lovell Federal
Health Care Center.

On February 9 , LBWC members Leslie Behnke Hall, Judy Kotsiopoulos and Katrina Hall
delivered a $3,000 donation to the Midwest Veterans Closet in North Chicago. Pictured along with
LBWC members are active duty Navy personnel, military veterans, the founder, Mary Carmody,
Executive Director Greg Voss and Operations Director Carol Goldhwaite. Carol Goldhwaite wrote,
“We are blessed and grateful to receive this incredibly generous donation from the Lake Bluff
Women’s Club. The funds go to providing clothing and food at no cost to active duty military and
veterans in need.

Bluffer's in Need Fund stands as a testament to our collective commitment to ensure no student was their educational path hindered black of resources. Managed with care by our district, this fund directly addresses the immediate needs of our students, making tangible differences in students' lives each year.
